The most recent DiCoMI secondments have been completed by the Romanian experts Mr Ioan Voina and Mr Bogdan Luca from the company Guhring. About one year ago, these two experts were the very first to do a secondment in the framework of DiCoMI project and they are back to Loughborough University (UK) to finalise their month of secondment.
Several research tasks were completed and especially the initial DiCoMI machine design specifications to produce high-strength composite material parts. Other project partners will utilise the work performed and refine the design specification, as well as the methods for creating a prototype DiCoMI machine.
At the same period, Mr Catalin Moldovan from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (Romania) also completed a secondment at 5 Axis Works (UK) located in London. He took advantage of his travel in UK to visit Loughborough University and his Romanian fellows from Guhring.
